Here at Edwards & Edwards Consulting, we focus on providing the client with expertise targeted at their requirements. If we don't have that talent in-house, we'll tell you so up front and help you locate the skills you need. We provide on-site training for a variety of operating systems and programming languages. If you need a "sudden-death" immersion into a particular topic, this is an excellent value.
Additionally, our instructors are also our consultants. If you require programming or system administration skills, and you don't have the time or budget to develop them in-house, consider us! Our people rotate between training, consulting, and time off (these functions are similar to food, clothing, and shelter -- they are the basic needs of anyone who expects to work in this industry and stay up-to-date with the events happening in their field of specialization).
We hope you find these pages to be casual and relaxed. There are plenty of factual, no-nonsense, nothing-but-information web sites out there on the 'Net, and we want you to be able to find some eccentricities in these pages...

Thank you, and please visit again!
A variety of our courses are available for IBM AIX 4.x and 5.x, Sun Microsystem Solaris 2.x and 7.x, and Hewlett-Packard HP-UX 10.x and 11.x, as well as Linux and various Unix (or Unix-like) operating systems. Some of our instructors are quite familiar with other platforms as well; for example, one instructor has quite a bit of experience with Visual Basic, and another has spent many years in mainframe-to-PC connectivity applications.
Not all of our instructors teach full-time for us. Many have their own consulting businesses. This is our attempt to provide you with an instructor who has gained their expertise through real-world activities and not by completing a "certification" process mandated by any particular vendor. Not only does this keep things flexible for our instructors, but it provides you with an instructor who can provide experience and expertise from a hands-on perspective.
We are adding course abstracts so that soon all of them will be available on-line. In the (not too distant?) future, the Table of Contents for selected courses will be available also. If you have requirements for any other information, please send us some email and let us know!
In the following table, the first column doesn't mention operating system names, since the purpose of the other columns is to identify which platforms we currently support. If you have not been able to find what you're looking for elsewhere, and it's not on our chart, please contact us, as we are adding new materials all the time. You may notice, for example, that our Linux section is light on administration topics. We are currently developing integrated modules from which the client will be able to create custom courseware without paying custom prices! Please check back periodically for that information.

At Edwards & Edwards Consulting we believe in the "practice what you preach" philosophy. That means all of our instructors participate in our consulting efforts, in one way or another. Some work directly with the client on projects which fit their interests and expertise; others work better behind-the-scenes, doing design work, for example.
